Royal LePage Royal City Realty hosted the first ever Summer Soiree in August 2018 to benefit Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis, raising over $19,000. This year marked the 41st anniversary of that first crisis line, started by eight brave University of Guelph students in one room with one phone line. Due to their commitment, determination and community support, Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis has helped and continues to help, thousands of women and children each year in Wellington County. The prevalence of violence and victimization of women is a serious social problem. Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis is well known as a leader in our sector and it would be wonderful to have you on this journey as we continue to make a positive impact on the lives of women and children in our community and advocate for broader social change.
